About me
Ryan Goldstein
I became a coach because I love helping people listen to what their life is telling them. I've been fascinated with men's work since I was seventeen and feeling lost - trying to figure out what manhood really meant. Luckily, I had a mentor and other men in my life, who helped me make sense of the experience of transitioning from childhood to adulthood.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in teaching. I've been a teacher for over twenty years, coached high school tennis, and directed a youth filmmaking program. I'm also a certified and insured Youth Resilience Coach and a certified Parent Coach. The work of being in the classroom led me to realize that what I'm really drawn to, and how I can make the biggest impact, is working one-on-one with men and parents in deeper, more meaningful ways.
The greatest things in life are my family and my close friendships. I'm continually working on myself through reading and learning, my own personal coaching, and a weekly men's group.
I find the most joy and peace in the natural world - hiking, camping, biking, and skiing. I love playing and writing music, racket sports and working with my hands.
